Full Description
Four separate fields of Post Medieval narrow ridge and furrow, centred at TQ 7497 7198 and located on the west and south west facing slopes between Chattenden Barracks, Round Top Wood and Islingham Farm, are visible as slight earthworks on aerial photographs and have been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The individual fields are located at TQ 7536 7190 (8 hectares), TQ 7497 7198 (3.35 hectares), TQ 7496 7231 (3.1 hectares), and TQ 7482 7260 (2.9 hectares). (1-3)
