Full Description
The earthwork of a lynchet in a field on the northern edge of Shorne can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007. This L-shaped lynchet, centred on TQ 6910 7154, once defined the southern and eastern boundary of Parsonage Farm. Parsonage Farm was depicted on the 1876 Ordnance Survey map but had been demolished by 1896. This was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-3)
