Full Description
Received underwater damage following collision with the Norwegian SS TRES, in fog. The LANRESSE sank within five minutes. The only casualty was the helmsman, George Day, of South Shields. The other ten crew were taken aboard the Brake light vessel and later transferred to Ramsgate by the lifeboat.
