A/s contacts were obtained in positions 51 27 53N 001 27 01E and 51 27 51N 001 27 12E in general depth 7.5fms. Scour 7ft. Seabed sand and shell - nearly smooth. 15-MAR-1962 Least echosounder depth 45ft in 48ft. Scour 52ft. A very small wreck. 18-JUN-1967 Least depth over wreck by echo 42ft in general depth by echo 46ft. 29-JUL-1969 Two boat drift sweep wreck cleared at 12.3m. Wreck fouled at 12.8m. Least depth by echosounder 13.6m, in general depth of seabed by echo 13.5-15m. Depth of the scour by echo 15m. Seabed is level in immediate vicinity of wreck but several peaks nearby. The wreck was located by fouling it close to position quoted in 1968. The wreck lies in its scour. There are steep ledges NE of it. Fixed in position 51 27 51N 001 27 10E. 22-SEP-1971 Not found by side scan sonar. Not investigated. 04-JUN-1974 Position 51 27 53N 001 27 18E, least depth 14m in 14.5m Scour 15.4m. 18-OCT-1977 Located using side scan sonar and echosounder in 51 27 51N 001 27 10E. Least depth 14m in general depth 14.6m. Scour 15.1m. Wreckage scattered over about 100ft in NE/SW direction. Side scan sonar height 0.34m. 24-APR-1980 In 51 27 52N 001 27 11E, least echosounder depth 13.3 in general depth 14.5m. Side scan sonar height 0.8m. No scour. Scattered over area 50x20m. 07-NOV-1983 In 51 27 52N 001 27 10E, least echosounder depth 13.5 in general depth 15m. Scour depth 15.2m. Lying NE/SW. Very broken-up. Sonar contact at S end of a pronounced escarpment, which is clearly delineated on side scan sonar and echosounder traces and is shoaler than the wreck. 15-FEB-1990 Located during area search (1). Not examined closely.
