Vertical Datum: LAT The HERLAND was mined in 1940. 18 people were killed. She was carrying 3500 tons of cargo. See wreck in 51 28 47.5N 000 51 21E. 25-APR-1947 Drift sweep after dispersal clear to 45ft surrounding sea bed irregular varying from 10 to 13fms. Least echosounder depth 57ft. Position 51 28 46N 000 51 24E. 26-MAR-1962 Shown as wreck 9 fms on K2536. 01-MAR-1965 Shown as wreck 9 fms 5ft on K4196. (1)
