Vertical Datum: LAT Quality of Depth: ES The HERLAND was mined in 1940, 18 people were killed. See also wreck in 51 28 45N 000 51 23E 25-APR-1957 Drift sweep after dispersal, clear to 45ft. Surrounding sea bed irregular varying from 10 to 13fms. Least echosounder depth 57ft, position 51 28 46N 000 51 24E. Partly dispersed by Admiralty between 1946 and 1951. Least echosounder depth 49.5ft. 1959 Drift sweeps. All clear to 50ft. Close sounding least depth 54ft. A considerable amount of wreckage in depth 66/70ft with scour 86ft. Much bad turbulance in vicinity. 26-MAR-1962 Shown as wreck 9 fms on k2536. 01-MAR-1965 Shown as wreck 9 fms on k4196 (1).
