Vertical Datum: LAT The BELVEDERE was mined in 1940. 10-JUN-1941 Sunk in 51 28 58N 000 47 43E. 14-NOV-1942 Position - 050.5Deg Martello Twr 3 miles. 09-FEB-1948 Position drift swept after dispersal. No trace of wreck found. Clear at 24ft. Scour located - 600ft long, 200ft wide, 10ft deep in surrounding depth 25ft. Wreck buoy position 51 29 01n 000 47 42e, position of deepest part of scour - 300ft s of buoy - 51 28 58N 000 47 42E. 24-MAY-1979 Area closely sounded, no wreckage found. General depth now 5-6m. Any remains must be covered. Chart as foul. 01-NOV-1988 A small scour located in ng coords 594165e, 004748.2N 51 28 59N 000 47 48.2E, indicating possibility of foul seabed. (1)
