Vertical Datum: LAT The BENEFICIENT was mined in 1940. 6 people were killed. She was carrying 4200 Tons cargo. 30-JUL-1959 Wreck partially dispersed in position 51 28 57N 000 49 46E. 30-JUL-1959 Drift swept and no obstruction located at 30ft 6inches position 51 28 58N 000 49 45E.
19-SEP-1979 Area was closely sounded, no wreckage found. General depth in area now 7-8m. Wreck must be covered. (1)
