The evidence below have all been obtained from (1).
Vertical Datum: LAT Quality of Depth: SWS The CONQUSTADOR sank in 1940 following a collision. She was hired by the Admiralty as a minesweeper.

03-FEB-1941 Swept clear at 36ft in 51 29 36N 000 59 42E.

17-JUN-1945 Now swept clear at 49, foul at 50ft.

12-DEC-1961 Wire sweep - clear at 51, foul at 54ft, least echosounder depth 58 in general depths 55-65ft. Scour depth 70ft.

25-JUN-1968 Least echosounder depth 56 in general depth 60ft. Scour depth 67ft. Poor sonar contact found in charted position.

11-DEC-1975 Located in 51 29 39N 000 59 42E. Drift swept clear at 15.2, foul at 15.45m, least echosounder depth 17 in general depth 18.5m. Scour depth 21m. Large, well defined wreck. Easy to locate.

07-JAN-1986 Now swept clear at 16.4m.

10-AUG-1992 Now swept clear at 16.3m.
