Seabed sand. No trace by echosounder. A shoal of 36ft close eastward of the wreck position precluded sweeping to finer limits. 15-MAR-1962 Not searched for. 26-DEC-1966 New position, least echosounder 44ft, seabed 41ft, scour 47ft, small obstruction only. 29-JUL-1969 Least echosounder 13.7m Seabed 13m scour 14.9m. No sonar contact since wreck is in its scour and close to a bank. Only one run over the charted position gave a trace of a wreck in the scour. Scour extends NNW-SSE for approx 300ft. Fixed in charted position 51 29 48N 001 25 00E. 04-JUN-1974 position 51 29 50N 001 25 03E, least depth 13.7m In 13-14m scour 14.9m. 13-NOV-1974 Fixed in position 51 29 49N 001 25 01E. Drift swept by a single vessel, wreck cleared at 12.8m (not fouled) general depth of the sea bed by echo 13m. Depth of the scour by echo 14.2m. Least depth over the wreck by echo 13.8m. This area shown as a foul. Was close sounded and evidence of wreckage in a scour was found. A drift sweep set just clear of the bed level was made with no contact and it is recommended that the area remain as charted. 15-FEB-1990 Located during area search. Not examined closely.
