Vertical Datum: LAT The GRAZIA was mined on passage with a cargo of coal, 1939. 19-NOV-1939 Reported sunk in position 090 deg, 6miles from Tongue Ltv. 30-SEP-1949 Oropesa sweep clear at 47ft. Least depth by echo sounder 61ft, surrounding depth 73ft, scour 89ft. Close a/s search datum over position 51 30 38N 001 34 42E. 09-DEC-1970 Not found during area sonar sweep area in vicinity of charted position. Close sounded and one small piece of wreckage 250ft NE of charted position found. Recommend wire sweeping position 51 30 41N 001 34 45E. Echosounder 20.1m (66Ft) in 22m (72ft) scour 23.7m (78Ft). 10-NOV-1976 Obstruction shown in position 51 30 40N 001 34 53E, Kingfisher Chart KE 151-2, July 1968 Edition. 27-OCT-1983 In 51 30 40N 001 34 45E, least echosounder depth 20.1 in general depth 22.2m. No scour, side scan sonar height 2.3m. Lying NNW/SSE, about 20m long, indicating that most of wreck must be buried. May be too small to be the GRAZIA. 15-FEB-1990 Located during area search. Not examined closely.
