Wire swept clear at 8.4m. 05-MAR-1992 In ogb coords 608253e, 183788n. Swept clear at 8.4, foul at 9.1m. Least echosounder depth 8.5 in general depths 9.6 to 11m. Scour depth 12.6m. Wreckage covers area 76x32m, orientated N/S. Sweep parted on fouling with white paint on one sinker and red paint on the other. Scour mainly to S of wreck mound but with an extension to ENE for 100m. Could be remains of MARCATO, dispersed in 1926. Launch OSPREY was also lost in this vicinity in April 1986 and may have lodged in this wreckage.
