Vertical Datum: LAT Quality of Depth: ES The BRAVORE, carrying 1993 tons of coal, was mined in 1940. 25-JUN-1959 Wreck dispersed. Clear at 39ft (mean low water springs). 02-FEB-1971 Examined in 51 18 32.5N, 001 30 50.5E. Least echosounder depth 13.7 in general depth 12m. Lies completely within own 14.8m deep scour. 13-MAR-1980 located during side scan sonar area search. Not exam'd. 28-OCT-1980 Examined in 51 18 31.0N, 001 30 53.0E. Least echosounder depth 11.3 in general depth 12m. No side scan sonar shadow. Scour 14m deep. Scattered wreckage, covering area 100 x 55m, hardly protruding above seabed. 07-JUL-1986 Examined in 51 183 0.0N, 001 30 53.0E. Scattered wreckage over a considerable area - nothing proud of seabed. 02-JUL-1991 Examined in 51 18 30.2N, 001 30 51.4E. Scattered wreckage giving no sonar shadow and only just proud of seabed.
