The evidence below have all been obtained from (1).
Vertical Datum: LAT The LISETA was damaged when she was torpedoed by German midget submarine U 245. She was beached near Margate Sand but was eventually refloated and repaired. (BoT, telecon 06-NOV-1970).

09-JUN-1959 Small portions of dislodged wreckage after salvage 2ft above sea bed.

04-JUN-1959 Drift sweep after dispersal. No trace of wreck in original position.

19-OCT-1977 Examined using side scan sonar and echosounder. Very small obstruction with little height which might be pieces of wreckage partially buried in sandy seabed in 51 25 36.0N, 001 25 34.0E. General depth 12.2m. No scour.

22-APR-1980 Small hard contact that barely rises above seabed examined in 51 25 36.0N, 001 25 33.0E. Least echosounder depth 11.0 in general depth 11.5m. No scour. Side scan sonar height 0.6m. No indication of any wreckage lying beneath seabed. Considered to be small isolated piece of wreckage.
