Full Description
Capel Manor was reportedly built in c.1867 of Kentish ragstone in an Italianate style. It was set in planned gardens including a tree avenue and a walled garden. The gardens no longer exist in their original form.
The main part of the building was demolished after the Second World War and replaced with the current Capel Manor House building, listed Grade II*. Elements of the 19th century gardens are included in the listing of the modern building. The courtyard element of the original building also remain.
