Vessel lies 340/160 degrees. 01-AUG-1947 Masts no longer showing, position 51 32 18.0N, 001 04 24.0E. 08-AUG-1959 Drift sweep, clear at 2ft, foul at 4ft. General depth 18ft. Scour 54ft. 11-DEC-1961 Drift sweep, clear at 2ft, foul at 3ft. Least echosounder depth 5ft in general depth 19-24ft. 26-JUN-1968 All round sonar. Least depth 10ft in general depth 20ft by echosounder. Seabed flat. Position 51 32 15.0N, 001 04 22.0E. 11-OCT-1973 Swept by wire clear at 4ft, foul at 4.9ft. Least echosounder 12.5ft in general depth 30ft. Scour 50ft. Position 51 32 15.0N, 001 04 23.0E. Large wreck, easy to find extending about 250ft N/S and 200ft E/W. Not easy to sweep and suspect that highest point is rounded. 26-JUL-1985 Dived on recently. Wreck lies on fairly even keel, fairly intact but broken just aft of midships. Both masts lie across wreck on starboard side extending down into the scour. Bridge and funnel have been removed. Highest points are lifeboat davits which are still firm. Orientated with bow to NNW. 09-APR-1990 Located by echosounder in APR-1987.
