Full Description
(TR 01357135) Iron Age coin dated to c 55 BC. The coin was discovered near to the Isle of Sheppey by metal detectors in 1992. It is an AV Stater, measures 15.75-17.25 mm in diameter and weighs 6.08 gm. The obverse is blank, the reverse shows a disjointed horse facing right. Catalogu reference VA 56-1, Gallo-Belgic E.
