Dendrochronology dating gave a date range of 1496-1531. (2)

One of the earliest securely dated fully floored houses. There was formerly a continuous jetty at the front and there are jetties at both ends. There is a narrow floored rear wing jettied at both sides and behind the hall is another wing. This appears to be 17th century in date and possibly replaced an earlier structure. (3)
