The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 1715 HIGH STREET (South Side)
Nos 111 to 117 (odd) TQ 8833 1/23 8.4.70.
II GV
2. A row of 4 (originally 3) C18 timber framed cottages of 2 storeys and attic, having red brick on the ground floor and refaced with curved tiles above. Tiled roof has 2 dormers. Eaves cornice. 6 casement windows. No 115 has 2 modern bay windows on the ground floor. Doorcases with flat hoods over and 6 panel moulded doors.
Nos 79 to 117 (odd) form a group.
