Full Description
Two Lower Palaeolithic hand axes. Provenance: Bitchet, Seal (TQ 572542). Kent County Museums Service Accession No.: K1850.44-45 (1) It is not clear whether these handaxes derive from the Harrison collection, selected items from which are reported in Maidstone Museum. (2)
2015 Volunteer Project suggested that TQ 55 SE 42 corresponds to NWK-6, No. 4,5 and 6 from the Southern Rivers Palaeolithic Project.
