Full Description
TQ616693. A bronze antoninianus of Aurelian was found in the garden of Sennen, Southfleet Avenue, New Barns, and is retained by the finder Tim Clark. (1) Master Tim Clark indicated the findspot in the front garden, at TQ 61616926. Mrs Clark stated that the coin was found in 1966 on the surface of a flower bed, but close to a heap of sand which had been delivered. There is therefore the possibility that the coin had come from a site unknown, with the sand. (2)
