Full Description

Registration No. FAVERSHAM 52900 Precise co-ordinates not available, last known location of vessel reported by Society for Spritsail Barge Research. BESSIE HART was built at Sittingbourne in 1866. She was owned successively by Woods, Brice, and Hoo Brick. She is noted as derelict in 1937 and as being broken up in 1960. Date reported derelict taken as date of loss. (1) No remains of a Spritsail barge were recorded in 2004, rather, stakes were recorded similar to TQ 77 SE 1025. (2)
