Registration No. ROCHESTER 87226 Precise coordinates not available, last known location of vessel reported by Society for Spritsail Barge Research. VIOLET was built at Teynham in 1884. She was owned successively by Westwood, Mercer, Wilm, Wood, Burns and Larraman. She is noted as a hulk and as being broken up around 1960. Date reported broken up taken as dtae of loss. (1)
