Full Description
In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports in May 1633 it was reported that the ship Saint Maria of Callais had been cast away on the Goodwyn Sands. There are several entries concerning goods from the vessel which show that cargo was loaded in Dover for merchants of Amsterdam. The goods include 2 bales of silk, 4 bales of [?] mohairs, quanitities of wool, barrels of tobacco and the tackle and furniture of the ship itself. Date of case report taken as date of loss.
