Full Description

In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports on 03 December 1636 it was reported that the ship Katherine of Dover had been wrecked near the Port of Dover on the 18th November last. Parts of the ship and goods laden in her were driven on shore, breaking open bags of wool. There are numerous claims made for goods which include Spanish Wool and involve merchants of Bridges (Bruges) in Flanders. (1)
