In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports on 22-FEB-1689 (1690 New Style), the case was heard concerning goods saved out of the ship JAMES, James Moulton master, `cast away' near Walmer Castle. (1)

The date of loss has been expressed as both 1689 (Old Style) and 1690 (New Style).
