Full Description

In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports on 25 September 1690 the case was heard concerning the salvage of molasses, hides and logwood from the ship Blossome of New England. While bound from Boston to London she had run on ground near Margate. NB: The nationality of the vessel is given as both American and English, since at the date of loss Boston was part of an English colony. Date of Loss Qualifier: Reporting date of loss (1)
