Full Description
In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports in 03 February 1699 (1700 new calendar) the case was heard concerning the claim of John Reed and John Hopkins for anchors, sails, cables, tackle, apparell and furniture belonging to the hoy William and Mary of Newport, Isle of Wight (White). John Reed was the master. The claim also included guns, elephants teeth and oak beams. Date of case report (according to the Julien Calendar) given as date of loss.
