Full Description
In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports on 08 May 1699 and at following sessions the case was heard concerning the ship Elias of Jersey. London merchants, John Fitz Gorrare and Philip Capen, claimed the guns, tackle, anchors, apparel and furniture and the wools and large leather saved from the ship. The salvors were awarded a third of the value amounting to 212 15s 3d. Date of case report given as date of loss.
