Full Description
In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports on 08 March 1707 (1708 new calendar) the case was heard concerning a claim for 14 bales of raw silks saved from the Hope of Amsterdam at Dover. There are many entries relating to the salvage of silks from this vessel. Date of report (according to the Julien calendar) given as the date of loss. (1)
