Full Description

In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports on 01 August 1765 the case was heard concerning the Danish ship Landschafe Eiderstadt which was bound from Hamburg toCadiz. Cargo had been salvaged between Hastings and Deal comprising bales of wax, casks of glassware, pieces of linen and a barrel of oil. (1) The Admiralty Case Papers include a translation of the ships manifest which show the marks by which cargo can be known. (2) Date of court case given as date of loss
