Full Description

`The YOUNG ABRAHAM, Girston, from Bordeaux for Hamburg, went ashore the 12th instant off Dungeness.' (3)

`On Wednesday morning, about five o'clock, was drove ashore on the Brooks, near Lydd in Kent, the JOHN ABRAHAMS, a Dutch ship, John Gallets, master, laden with brandy, wine, lemons and indigo, from Bordeaux and bound to Hamburgh. She is bulged and little hopes of getting her off; the people are saved.' (5)
