Full Description
Teh Admiralty Court Case Papers record the loss of the Good Intent on Long Sand near Harwich on 05 May 1756. The vessel had left Virginia on 09 March bound for Kingston Upon Hull, Hector Page the master. Her Bill of Lading is among the papers. The cargo included 850 barrels of tar, 50 barrels of turpentine, 24 walnut planks and some pipe staves. There are numerous claims for salvage.
