Full Description
The Admiralty Court Case Papers record the wrecking of the St Peter on the Goodwin Sands. The ship of 52 lasts burthen had sailed from Stockholm with a cargo of tar. The case concerned the salvage of goods between 31 October and 06 November. There are claims for both the cargo and the ship. Date of commencement of salvage claim given here as date of loss.
