Full Description
The Admiralty Court Case Papers record the loss of the galliot Christopher of 'Landscreen' in Sweden on the Goodwins where she broke to pieces. The document, dated 23 December 1765, states that in February the master, Lorens Asmmson, examined 720 unmarked pipe staves washed ahore at Dover and claimed them to be from his cargo.
