Full Description

In his report of 14 December 1920 the Harbour Master describes how the old merchant steamer Tyne moored alongside a battleship at a buoy 400 yds downstream of HMS Bulwark. In a storm the steamer's side was pierced and she sank in 38ft of water at low tide. It was not known if she would be raised. (1)
