Full Description
The Harbour Master reported that a barge, Mabel, had struck the wreck remains of the Princess Irene. There were no details of the Princess Irene. (1)
Position perhaps incorrect as the explosion apparently occurred at No. 28 buoy about 3 miles WSW from Sheerness town centre, further up river.
