The fuse factory TR 0088 6263 (GCE), explosives license Kent 124, lay between the western tramway of the Marsh Works (TR 06 SW 64) and the Oare Road. The factory consisted of 17 regularly dispersed buildings and a meal room to the south west; the layout of the factory is shown on a Nobels Explosives Company drawing. (1) The site of this factory is now covered by a light engineering works. A house at TR 0089 6258, used formerly as a meal room, is the only part of the works to survive (1).
