Monument record TR 26 NE 163 - Medieval midden, possible occupation site, St. Nicholas at Wade parish
Summary
A deep pit was found cut into a natural chalk surface during work in advance of a road development. The feature was found to contain midden refuse and 13th-14th century pottery sherds. An occupation layer of medieval date was also found in close association.
