Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1961 Line 3: 6930 Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1985 Line 5: 0173 See also NMR no. TQ 87 NE 95 The outline of a single barge is just visible. It can be seen in the mud of the 1961 photograph, and an indiscenible feature can be seen in the same position on the 1985 survey. The Society for Spritsail Barge Research record only one barge in this creek. (1) Not visible during the 2005 coastal survey, it may be buried in the mud or been removed or simply incorrectly located in the record (2) No trace of this barge could be seen on available photographs when the area was mapped and recorded from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. This may be due to conditions such as tides and deposition of mud at time of photography obscuring the wreck seen by the previous authorities. (3
