Full Description
Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1990 Line 8: 0153, site photographs (1-5). Possible remains of a barge end on to the shore. It appears as a dark raised feature in the intertidal mud close to the saltmarsh This record may refer to a small wreck on the south side of Bishop Saltings at TQ 8175 7062. This was first seen on aerial photographs taken in 1992 and was still visible in 2007. This was mapped from aerial photos as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-2)
