Full Description
Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1990 Line 8: 0153 One of four barges lying on the shore to the south west of Darnet Ness Fort, site photographs (1-4). They cannot be seen on the 1985 survey (KCC 1985 Line 9: 0120). A concrete dumb lighter was seen in 2004. (5) This barge is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2007. It measures approximately 25.5m by 6.5m and was mapped from aerial photos as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project
