Maritime record TQ 96 NE 34 - Unidentified barge (possibly Kestrel), Conyer Creek, Tonge
Summary
The substantial remains of a barge were recorded at the given point in the 2005 Coastal Survey, and were previuolsy seen on photgraphs in 1961 and 1967. These may be of the spritsail barge Kestrel. Parts of the rudder, transom and port side survive. Some ceiling planking remained in 2005.
