Monument record TQ 66 SE 29 - Inhumation burials and ring ditches, possible barrow?, Pring's Quarry, Upper Halling
Summary
A central inhumation burial surrounded by two concentric ring ditches was found during excavations by the Maidstone Area Archaeological Group. A futher inhumation was found cut into the outer ditch. Finds made during the course of the excavations were indicative of late Neolithic or an early Bronze Age date. It is important to note that no evidence of a central mound was found.
