Maritime record TR 06 SW 158 - Remains of barges, Graveney
Summary
Aerial photgraphs in 1961, 1967 and 1985 showed a line of dark objects lying parallel to the beach at the given point, east of the Faversham Creek mouth. By 1985, groynes had been built and it is possible that the shapes are the remains of barges previously used for beach defence.
