Maritime record TR 06 NW 34 - Remains of the barge Corona, Isle of Harty, Leysdown

Summary

Aerial photographs in 1967 recorded the presence of a barge lying parallel to the edge of the marsh in the intertidal zone off the Isle of harty. The barge has been identified as the Corona, built at Rainham in 1894, described later as a yacht and declared derelict in 1945. The remains were still visible in 1985.
