Full Description

Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1961 Line 4: 0213 One of three barges lying on the inland side of the promotory sheltering the north side of Robin's Creek. By the time of the 1967 photographs (KCC 1967 Line 34: 1315) the bank against which they lay had been built up. The barges were not visible. By 1985 photographs (KCC 1985 Line 6: 0083) the creek had been shut off by a wall/road. The Society for Spritsail Research record one barge (NMR no. TQ 67 SW 169) being built into Robin's Wharf. (1) Totally overgrown area. Unable to get down to the laower parts of robin's Creek because it is so overgrown with briars and trees. Unable to gain access during the coastal survey of 2005 (2)
