Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1985 Line 10: 0050 Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1990 Line 9: 0222 One of three barges lying against the eastern side of a pier which extends from the wharf. They can also be seen on the 1990 survey. The pier was constructed after the 1967 survey which shows no barges. A number of barges have been recorded at Gillingham from the Society for Spritsail Research publication ((NMR nos.TQ 76 NE 186-197 inclusive).
