Full Description

In the Admiralty Court of the Cinque Ports on 4th March 1703 (1704 new calender) the case was heard of the Love of the City of Worreme in Friesland which came aground near Romsey (Romney ?). Claims were made for both anchors, sails, cables, masts, ropes, rigging, tackle, apparel and furniture of the hoy and for the pipe staves and hogsheads staves laden in her. Further entries relate to this vessel. Date of case report (according to the Julien calender) given as date of loss. (1)
