`Dungeness, 3d Nov.The ARABELLA of Stettin, Deidrick, from Leith to St Michael's, having sprung a leak and carried away her mizzen mast, was run on the beach yesterday afternoon and totally wrecked this morning. The crew, cargo and part of the materials saved by a party of the coast blockade.' (1)
The master of this vessel may also be the master of the BIENENKORB (q.v.), also registered at Stettin, and lost three years later.
The nationality of this vessel has been expressed as both German and Polish, since the port of Szczecin in modern Poland was at the time of the vessel's loss the Prussian port of Stettin.
